Dr. Bontu Eba Regassa is a Medical Doctor and graduate of Hawassa University. She serves as READIO Ethiopia’s Regional Volunteer Coordinator for Addis Ababa and Oromia, supporting community-health, protection, and humanitarian initiatives. Her professional training includes women’s empowerment, child protection and child migration, and nutrition. She is dedicated to strengthening access to preventive healthcare, maternal and child health, health education, and support for vulnerable communities.
With a strong commitment to health equity, Dr. Bontu works alongside health professionals, volunteers, local leaders, and community partners to help connect underserved populations with essential health services, preventive care, health education, and emergency support.
Her interests include maternal and child health, disease prevention, mental-health awareness, emergency response, and strengthening community participation in healthcare. She is dedicated to ensuring that compassionate, accessible, and sustainable care reaches communities most in need.
