WHO WE ARE”

READIO International (Remote Care Empowerment and Development Initiative Organization) is a humanitarian initiative created to scale a proven, grassroots model of community-centered healthcare and development.

While READIO International provides global vision, coordination, and partnership building, our work is rooted in action on the ground through READIO Ethiopia — a fully registered and operational civil society organization delivering lifesaving services in remote and underserved communities across Ethiopia.

To support sustainability and future expansion, READIO USA serves as the registered fundraising and resource-mobilization arm, connecting global supporters to community-led impact in Ethiopia and beyond.

Together, we are building a platform for African-led humanitarian solutions with global solidarity.

READIO International is a community-led, volunteer-driven humanitarian initiative working through a holistic approach to address the interconnected needs of underserved and crisis-affected communities. Our work is rooted on the ground through READIO Ethiopia, delivering integrated health care, nutrition and food security, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), WASH, community empowerment, and emergency response in hard-to-reach areas. READIO USA serves as the fundraising and partnership arm, mobilizing global resources to strengthen grassroots impact in Ethiopia and support future expansion across Africa.
