Mr. Tamirat Beyene Gerete

Mr. Tamirat Beyene Gerete serves as the Regional Volunteers Coordinator for READIO Ethiopia, playing a key role in mobilizing, organizing, and supporting the organization’s extensive volunteer network across multiple regions. He coordinates medical and non-medical volunteers, including healthcare professionals, social workers, community mobilizers, and youth volunteers, ensuring effective deployment during routine outreach programs and emergency humanitarian responses. Mr. Tamirat works closely with regional health offices, community leaders, and READIO program teams to strengthen volunteer engagement, promote accountability, and ensure services reach the most underserved communities. His leadership has been instrumental in sustaining READIO’s community-led, volunteer-driven model, supporting more than 100 volunteers contributing their time and expertise to humanitarian service across Ethiopia.
